to help support programs at
Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is a special place to me. My brother, “Big Bill” Osterberg, worked for the California State Parks for nearly thirty years and lived at Henry Cowell. So the park was literally my brother’s backyard.

Bill passed away in 2004.  He was the heavy equipment operator for the Santa Cruz District, and evidence of his many years of work remains throughout the region’s parks. Volunteering at Henry Cowell helps me remain connected to my brother and allows me to enjoy his tangible legacy.
